Deanda Johnson to Speak on Incarceration Literature

On Tuesday, November 10 Deanda Johnson, Coordinator of the African American Research and Service Institute and a Visiting Instructor in the Department of African American Studies at Ohio University, will speak on “Freedom Denied: African American Prison Literature and Other Stories of Confinement.” Her presentation is part of the Libraries’ Culture Showcase series.
Ms. Johnson’s presentation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 pm in the Friends of the Library Room (Alden 319). Refreshments will be available.
